It doesn’t matter which team you follow, there are many amongst us who love to reminisce about football shirts. It’s a huge thing for collectors too. They search online, in charity shops and at car boot sales for that golden nugget to add to their collection. Some of us just get all fuzzy when we look at an old photo, seeing a kit that takes us back to a different time.

I don’t like many modern designs. It’s not me being grumpy, and I’m not the target for the manufacturers I guess, but the new shirts are often boring or too garish.

So today, we’re heading back to look at different brands and examples of classic kits. Feel free to add your favourites in the comments section.
